Test one was done with colored pencils and took two hours. The richness of the color was nice, but the coloring takes too long and colored pencil does not erase at all, which would make layering and readability nearly impossible.
Test two was done with watercolors and took one hour. It is fairly fast, pulls up off the paper fairly well and is pretty easy to work with.
Test three was done with acrylic and took one hour. Acrylic has a nice thickness to it, and is very easy to layer, but can get very shiny and glossy when it comes to lighting it. It also lacks a transparency, which is an aesthetic that I want at least slightly present in the work.
To do the tests I set up a tripod, my camera, and just made do with what I had.
Worked on revising the proposal, about 30 minutes. The revised proposal is the one present at the beginning of this blog.
